That range is honest, but it is not an answer by itself. The real question is what puts a specific project at the bottom of the range or past the top of it. What drives cost in Boulder
Five things set the cost of a custom home here more than anything else: the site, the structure, the glazing, the systems, and the level of finish. Boulder adds its own multipliers, including sloped and constrained lots, wildfire code requirements, and, in unincorporated Boulder County, water supply and access conditions that can shape a budget before a single drawing exists.
