Raised in the trades
Alex Molkentin is a third generation builder. His grandfather and father both worked in the trades, and he grew up on their job sites, learning what a schedule, a budget, and a handshake are worth.

The company is named for Fernhill, the Queenstown neighborhood where that way of building took hold. It has been applied across Boulder County ever since, one project at a time.
